Kenwood KAC-7201 800W 2CH AMP

I have had that pioneer headunit once. I DIDNT LIKE IT! i think the bass sounded like banging on a trashcan. You should at least spend a little change and get an alpine or a kenwood headunit. I have tried many brands out there. Clarion, Kenwood, Pioneer and I ended up with an Alpine CDA-9857.

if you've already got the gear, sure, go with it!
if the amp really produces 230watts rms @ 2ohms, you're running
2.5 times the rated power of those very efficient speakers, which
seems like a bit of overkill. cap also shouldn't be necessary.
get a Modifry DCI from the s2ki marketplace to keep your dash
controls, assuming that headunit is supported.

is it okay to run another set of rear speakers 5.25's with the two channel amp? So that consists of the 5.25's in the rear and the components in the fronts running on that two channel amp. OMG i'm such a nooB!

while theoretically possible, depending on the amp and speakers and how
you wired them, probably not a good idea as the F/R fader wouldn't work
so you'd probably never get the volume properly matched front-to-rear.

If you're trying to save money, you might want to see what the system sounds like before adding rear speakers - I don't think they're worth it imo.
