Default Cheap IPOD Setup with OEM

http://www.autotoys.com/x/catalog/HONDA___...7.html#morepics

follow the link. its a simple wiring setup. there are no controls with radio other than volume and so forth. you cant control the IPOD, but it plays clearly through the CD changer port. and even charges the Player while it plays.

nice cheap fix. $60 the company is located in NJ
I ordered mine Friday, it will arrive via UPS this friday.

This looks amazing! I gotta phone to make sure 100% it works on the 06 model, but wow i hope it does! It is extremely cheap and even charges the ipod.

I will have one on order this week if they do work!

Basically it looks like a glorified wiring harness; i'd be suspicious if it were more expensive than $60. But I agree it's a GREAT idea and am surprised no one marketed this sooner.

Not an Icelink. Think of a HON-AUX with an iPod dock connector instead of RCA jacks.

The other added feature is that is supplies power to the iPod which the HON-AUX doesn't.

All this device does is fool the radio into thinking a CD changer is present. Then it pipes the music over the same lines the CD changer uses. It also supples power to the iPod. I really doubt it offers HU integration.

You cannot simply splice in an AUX in - the radio won't allow it unless something "tells it" that there is a CD changer via the MBUS protocol.

Note that none of the above is criticizing this device. It of offers AUX-IN and iPod charging via the dock connector and a stock HU for $60, it's a really nice solution for those who don't mind using the iPod controls.

All I can say is if you buy one of these things before hearing some other vict^H^H^H^H user review it, you may be in for a big disappointment. Many of these integration units have compatibility issues.

I speak from experience here.
