choke coil on 9815
I have recently rewired the cart - 4 gauge running along outside of passenger area; RCAs and fron speaker wires togeather along drive right side on left of console under carpet - I am getting some high pitch whine
I had to cut off the choke coil on the 9815 during install [ to get it somewhere where I couild more easily change the choke coil fuse if needbe] and my question - as I otherwise troubleshoot the engine whine - is, does it make a difference if I inadverently reversed the choke coil wiring- could this be some of the problem?
Thank you

What kind of RCas do you have?

Even though NFR might have the answer to your whine, he didn't exactly answer your question. In case you're still interested. . .
No, it makes no difference which direction the choke is wired.
Chokes, (or inductors) do not have polarity. All that matters is that it's wired in series with the power wire. It's purpose is to help filter out electrical noise coming in on the power cable.
