My girlfriend got this alarm for me for Christmas. I've heard good things about Clifford but I haven't heard anything about this particular model.

The store where she got it from will only give store credit if I decide to return it. My question is, is there a better alarm that I should shell out some extra money for? Or is this alarm just as good as the rest of the Clifford products? Also, the salesman who helped her out told her that they stopped selling remote start for Clifford because they were have many problems with those units. Is there any truth to this?

Compustar. Cliffords can be disarmed easily (cellphones)....

 

Not an option. Like I said, I can only get store credit if I return the alarm. The alarms that they sell are Clifford, Viper and Avital. Any suggestions out of those choices?

 

They are all the same. Keep the Clifford.
