The 6.1s dont need any spacer of any kind. Just use the stock baskets....cut out the backs.

I bought some Pioneer Tsc1653 6 1/2 Inch Component Speakers which are OK for about $100. I think Polk had some better ones like the db6500. They cost about $200. For other options check out http://www.lucidauto.com/

I don't think Kappa perfects are settling, they're one of the better options for our cars.

Exactly... and cutting the backs off is simpler than it sounds. As for the tweeters just use the stock baskets. I'm running KP 6.1s in my 2005 right now.

I've got a 2 channel pushing my 6.1's and I've got a single channel pushing my Infinity 12DVQ.

They sound great. I got them discount so it was a good deal.

I've still got the problem of turning on my car and the amp to my components will continiously clip if I wait to long to start the ignition. Don't know why it only does it on that amp and not the one for my sub.

6.5s fit fine you just have to cut the stock basket. I just got done installing my 6.5 alpine type r's and they sound great. Took about 20 minutes all together. good luck with yours.
