Sorry if it is not in the right place or not, i figure its an electronic part. Basically i wanted to know if the 2003 convertable top would fit on an 00 or 01? Are the motors and wiring the same? do they mount on the car in the same places? and yes i tryed the search, i was unlucky in finding what i was looking for.

this is more of an UTH question.

check with the under the hood guys. as far as i know though, yeah.... it's ok. however, i honestly have no clue.


oh, i'm thinking frame and top... i seem to recall reading that they were exchangeable. if you're talking just about the top, then the '00 and '01 frame will need to be modified. i think this question is FAQ linked somewhere. check the UTH faq's.

It should fit no problem. People have been know to change from the 00, and the 02/03 top because, as you know the first 2 years of production the top had a plastic window and now the late models have a glass window. You should be fine swaping them out.

 

The frame is interchangeable as well, I have a 04 frame/top on my 00. btw it only takes two hours.
