A couple problems when I ordered from Lucid...
I have to admit, I am unhappy with my entire order scenario fro Lucid, and must admit, I don't plan on buying from the site again. Just thought I'd share my experience with you guys. I ordered Modifry's DCI for my new Sony radio. It takes a while to ship, fine, I understand that, and was patient. When it finally did ship, it was sent to my home rather than to my work like I cleary specified when I ordered it, I even confirmed it before it shipped just to insure that it would come to my work because nobody is ever home at my house, and UPS doesn't leave the packages. So, that was more hassle because I had to drive to the UPS facility to pick it up which was about 30 minutes away from my house. Then I finally got it, and it was missing one part. I had the black board, and the wiring harness, but no LED harness. I called them, they then sent me that which I received today. In the meantime, I had an appointment to get everything installed today, but had to cancel it and reschedule it for next Monday because I had to wait for the missing part to arrive. All in all, a total hassle, and waste of my time. The company never even compinsated for all of the problems, kind of just blew me off, and I'll be honest, I didn't appreciate it. They'l never see my money again.

Hi, I just checked with my associate regarding this situation...
As noted in other threads there were delays in these units. Yours was one of the 1st new batch to go out. The unit was shipped out as fast as possible.
Shipping to the BILLING address is very typical. We've encountered credit card FRAUD and often only ship to the credit card billing address. Each order has to be verified.
Also noted by my associate is that she said FREQUENT calls from you per day that it would be shipped and everything seemed fine via phone.
The missing part was an issue of course. Your unit arrived Friday. My packer PERSONALLY paid to have it the missing harness to arrive today - which was relayed to you by phone call and you were perfectly fine with it.
All things considered, I think this posting is unfair in light of your previous vocal considerations. I'll see to it that the issues and people are addressed.
In light of your experience ordering with us, we'll cover full return shipping and refund in FULL.

Not interested in a refund Jim. Just wanted to be treated like a CUSTOMER, and not just another number on the list. Glad to see you understand your customers complaints and concerns. LOL. Good luck on obtaining repeat customers. You're going to need it with your business attitude.
I have ordered two different things from Lucid, (at two different times), including the multi radio DCI with harness. Both of my orders arrived exactly as I expected and within the time frame that was given. Sorry you had trouble.
Well....Give me a break, I have read serveral hundred threads about Lucid and the overall concesus is they do great business.
Lucid provides custom products at a reasonably price for S2000 owners like you and I. Do we want to discourage this? I think Jim WAS treating you like a CUSTOMER by offering a refund.

I understand your frustration because heck we've all had problems dealing with vendors (be it whoever). HOWEVER -starting a thread to bash Lucid is not deserving or fair!!!
