Crappy experience with millionbuy.com
I ordered Boston Acoustics SL60 component speakers from them in an Ebay auction. Auction stated they usually ship same day. I ordered them at the same time as the rest of my system so I was hoping they would arrive in a similar timeframe. I paid immediately with Paypal on 2/23... on the 27th, I got an email from them saying the item was on backorder and should ship soon. How can you sell something on Ebay that you have on backorder? Turns out you can't; some of their auctions were suspended (by Ebay) a couple days later for listing violations. Called on 3/1, was told item would ship next day and was at their other "warehouse" in NJ (they're in CA). Called again on 3/3 and was told they don't have any other warehouse. Asked for a supervisor and was denied. Called back and got some lady in accounting, who claimed to be the customer service supervisor. She did squat except blew me off. Actually she hung up on me. When I called back, I talked to Chris on 3/6. He was nice. But then he was interrupted by his supervisor, who told him to cut the call short... he informed me that if I have any further inquiries I should email ebay@millionbuy.com and that he had to end the call. Half an hour later I got a refund by Paypal. They have great prices but when it came to customer service, they were total scumbags and wasted almost two weeks of my time. I ended up ordering them from woofersetc.com and we'll see how it goes.
I realize some people have had luck ordering from millionbuy.com before and this was only my experience but if I can prevent another s2k'er from having an experience like mine then i've done what I came to do.
