Does anyone here have this alarm? I just purchased one and would like to know before the shipping goes through if it is a reliable alarm or not. And don't worry about the remote start, I will not be hooking that function up as our cars are obviously do not have automatic trannys.

The specs are here: http://www.crimestopper.com/superpage.html . I am thinking about adding window modules as well like I had in my Si. The modules automate your power windows so that you have auto up AND down for both windows. And it also enables you to rollup the windows when you arm the alarm and roll them down when you disarm.

I don't know anyone with this system, but the guys at Autotoys.com seem to think it's pretty good. They have it as one of their sample installs.

I've been waiting for Crimestopper to release their new CS2015FM since last August. Every month I email them and they tell me "It will be ready next month". We're now up to "It will be ready end of March".

They may be right this time, at least the export version is available now. The main difference I can see between the 2006 and the new 2015 is that the remote has 4 buttons (adds an Aux feature) and have vibrate alert function.

Just for you information, I plan to use the remote start when (if) I get mine. Autotoys.com has an immobilizer bypass unit for $40 that does not require a spare key like everybody elses. My only problem now is to make a "neutral switch" so there are no "accidents".

Thanks for the reply.

Keep me posted on your remote start function when you get the alarm. I may activate it later on. I just want to have the alarm/window/trunk function for now unless you or anyone else comes up with a good solution to the remote start issue.

Hey, I had a question about aftermarket alarms. I have a Honda Civic with keyless entry, and I would like an alarm, but I do not want to have to hit buttons on two separate remotes before I can enter my car...Is it possible to control the alarm with my current remote? or control my keyless entry with an aftermarket remote? I don't need a ton of different features, I just want to be able to arm/disarm the alarm and unlock the doors with one button push. TIA

a new alarm will be able to unlock and lock your doors. You won't need the stock keyless entry remotes any more.
