Default crystal CPE50 Install Question - Mark?

I just received my Crystal CPE50s for the SPODS and they do not come with directions - no biggie except does anyone have opinion as to the crossover selection: they are 4ohms, 85hz - 20 KHz, 90 dB sensitive, power handling 120 watts - to be driven by only an Alpine 9815 when some ok 6.5 inch compnents with fixed crossovers are in the doors. assume no sub for now

I can make the midrange flat or -150

I can make the tweeter flat or -3dB

thanks

Its much easier to tune your system if you listen to music. Pic a good all round song....(christina aguilera - -'I turn to you" is really good for tuning) And just play with the settings until you like it.

The hardest part is separating the plastic roll bar covers. Some people have no trouble at all, some struggle with this. The trick is to strike the plastic sharply right on the seam. I've done 3-4 installs myself, and sometimes I get it to separate after 2-3 strikes...sometimes 8-10. It's all about hitting with just the right force in just the right place.

I think it's worth taking a little time to separate the plastic this way. It leaves you the option of removing the S-Pods if you sell the car, and snapping the plastic back together. If you drill holes...you're left with holes forever.

Price is: $240 + 10 shipping + 19.80tx for CA residents.
