John-
Don't want to kill the thread ue to commercial content.

What about a Critical mass 8" sub? Assuming it needs less power? A 10" might be a bit much for the cabin locaton (perfect for the trunk).

List of the 10 subs?

The CriticalMASS 8" sub is the MB82. That unit retails for about $500

Here are the specs:

Max Power Handling : 400 W
RMS Power Handling : 200 W

Really nice sub.

I'll post a list of the available subs I found and other can post the ones I missed... because I'm sure I missed a few.

If there is a market for these types of sub boxes I'll begin to make them on a larger scale.
I'd be interested in one of these as well. Using a similar price sub, would this be more or less expensive than one of your trunk box solutions?

Man! Too mad its only a 2-ohm impediance... Can't be had in 4-ohm? That sucks...

I also noticed the RMS rating for the 8" is only 200... wtf? The jump from the 10" to the 12" is only 100wrms! Its almost 700wrms from the 8" to the 10"!

The xmax is exactly what I want, though! Its only 3mm short of my Boston Acoustics G5-10! And that is a high excursion sub!

John-

Which sub would you recommend for my amp? My Boston G5 LOVES it! I know certain brands/models like to be pushed a little harder than the others.

The ULTIMATE question is.... can you make a .75CF ported/vented one? It only needs 300watts for full output then!
.75 qft vented at 52 Hz (requires 300W for full output)
Maybe port it up into the tranny area with a flatter box (slit port vs round for reduced profile)?

I am still very interested in this. Any idea on the price that the enclosure may cost? You can PM me the price if you don't want it public.
