Custom fiberglass sub enclosure in footwell

On the loss of space issue:
First when you peal back the carpeting you see this:
Throw out the stryofoam piece and you get this: (note sharpie line on floor)
Cut away this rubber coated sound deadener and you get this:
Zip tie the sound deadener out of the way and you can get to work:
and then my box: (note the sharpie line)
Note floor crease stays the same.

Ah! Makes a lot more sense now! The sound deadener is missing in my car... I do not recall removing it, maybe the prior owner did.
The little amount I saw as being lost was pointless anyway, as you could just put your foot on the lower part of the box....

i know that this thread is been here for a while...i jst bought s2000 and looking for where to put my sub. so far this one is the best i think...and i like the way it is.. i would like to buy like this one..can anyone tell me who is making and selling. thanks..
