Default Custom Sub Box

I went to this place to get a custom box for my s2000 and they charged me 100$ so on and on from different places, ranging from 100$ to 180$

then i decided to go to home dipo and bought some wood.

with a drill and a screw i was able to make an ampbox and an amprack

with a box of screws, marker, drill and a saw as i was able to make an amp rack and an enclose amp box

check it out and tell me what you think?

this is my amp rack which has air flow thanks to a small fan

and this is what it looks like before i carpeted the box

wood - 10$
box of screws - 2$
glue - 2$
carpet - 5$

i didnt put the carpet on because i was thingking about a carbon fiber sub box.

I see a Best Buy service plan brochure. I work in the Geek Squad so it just caught my eye. I'm all about saving money. Good job! Hows the sound quality?

Not trying to be a dick or anything, but you should have spent $35 and bought MDF.

The board you are using now looks to be plywood and that will not last nor is it giving you the best sound quality.

or go all out and do the bottom with fiberglass, frame with MDF, and top with carbon fiber. I think I dropped $100 just in materials today. Completely uneeded and over the top. but hey... it'll be fun

but yea MDF isn't much more than plywood and it'll give u a really nice sound 3/4 of a huge piece big enough for the whole thing was under $10 at HD.
