I think he's referring to one of those faces like on cheesy Panasonic and Kenwood midi systems. The front looks like a mirror until you turn it on and then blue info lights up behind.

The only screens that light up blue are Clarion, Panasonic, and the NEW Pioneers. But please tell me you arent choosing a deck solely based on light output color?

you won't get a vid screen like that in an S... look around, no one is doing it... the shifter either gets in the way or the dash prevents you from angling it to a useful position.

honestly, based on the way that this thread has started and continued -- look around your city for your best local shops, bring lots of money with you, and go inside each one and show them what you want to do. check out other installs they've done, and once you've found a good shop that appears both reputable and competant - get them to do what you're wanting done.

i say this because it appears that you are not familiar with car electronics or installation, and i'd hate to see you get yourself backed into a painful corner trying to do this yourself.

oh, and Dave -- don't some of the Sony MP3 decks do blue? i seem to recall that one w/ the hard drive built in it had a full color interface too..... *shrug*
