That looks good, thanks. Does the Modifry braket come with the correct hole spacing for the Proclip?

SO I already have the modifry bracket. I can just buy the swivel one for $39.99 and that would be all I need for my Iphone 4? Mine has a hard case. Would it work with that?
Would love to have something to mount it like that. Downloaded a free GPS app and want to give it a try to see how it compares to my actual gps.

I have this case

Ah ok yeah just checked it out. Damn much more expensive if you want one that allows you to plug in.
Bumps it up to $80

very easy and inexpensive way around that as i did this in my truck and my car

what i did was install an aux input to headphone jack into my alpine head units that plugs into my Evo so that i can play the music / nav through the head unit and

then for power i went to the junk yard and got a cigarette lighter and then bought this

i hide the usb power port in my dash and ran the mico usb to my phone - total cost was around 20.00 -

or if you have an alpine / ipod stereo (mine is a 9884 in the car) - you only need to run the iphone wire from the head-unit and it will charge / play though the head-unit

I'm using a RAM mount for my iPod Touch and I like it a lot. Its very sturdy and holds the iPod securely. Here is the iPhone version of the one I'm using on Amazon, I just didn't use the bottom flexible part of the mount.

that RAM mount is not so bad.

How are you guys running cables to your devices once docked/mounted?

Through the vent above the radio door. Cut out one vertical from the lower grate and an iPhone cable will fit through.

Here is a one cable solution for power and aux. It works with an iPhone 4. I picked up a lighter socket from Autozone for ~$5, wired it to the extra connectors on the fuse box and jsut hide it in the passenger side cargo net thing.
