I used 1/8" thick abs plastic sheets, JB weld, ABS/PVC cement, and body filler. And a heat gun to mold the "frame" part of it to fit the curve of the dash. Then hours, and hours, and hours of sanding and some textured paint.

That was probably me... hence the "Go to Fontana"

Unfortunately, the car came back home on a flatbed. But it's all healed up now

Very nice work.

I must say though, If I was going to go through all the trouble of installing an inDash touch screen I would have just thrown a CarPC in the spare tire well and ran Vista with iPod/Nav/SatRadio/Etc.
