Hey all,

I have a new Pioneer deck, and a generic Honda aftermarket stereo adapter. I want to get Modifry's IR DCI, but am not sure whether or not to get his harness, or go with the generic Honda one.

I have heard I can just modify the generic Honda to aftermarket one to get full functionality out of it (ie similar to Modifry's). Can I?

Depends what you wwant and what your skill set is. If you are good with wiring and soldering and have access to a mini-blowtorch, wire cutters/strippers and some shrinkwrap tube then by all means mock up the harness yourself. That's the way I did it.

If you don't have the resources, time, and inclination just buy the plug and play option. I wasn't even aware there was one.

 

i personally didnt get one for mine.

IMO it's waste of money.
