Default DCI for Pioneer trouble

Seems to me like Modifry, or perhaps Gofastlab are out of business...
I can't seem to find the correct/working link I need to purchase a DCI for my Pioneer headunit.
Found this DCI in the For Sale forum... will this work for me?
I just bought a Pioneer DEH-6800.

Thanks for your help.

if that headunit supports an IR remote, it's *likely* it will work.
I believe some newer Pioneer headunits support a wired remote
(which is a cleaner install) which that IR DCI won't do.
while I haven't actually tried to buy a DCI there, looks like
http://www.modifry.com/products/dci/buy.htm is up and running.
Remember that s2000 accessories providers are generally small
businesses whose websites may not be as reliable as Amazon,
so if it doesn't work once, don't write it off.

Thank you! I had trouble even finding Modifry's website.
Now to figure-out if my headunit supports the wired DCI....

It does. I have same HU and did a wired PAC SWI-PS.

Crutchfield.com

Go for the integrated Ipod adapter, it's awesome.

I already have the IPOD Controller.
What if I only purchase the PAC SWI-PS, can I just plug-and-play?
Or is there some splicing/wiring required?

That's some good info, thank you! I felt guilty spending $110.00 just for the leisure of my fingers to not have to move all the way down to the head unit. But now, I don't feel so bad.
