Dead radio
I was driving home from work when suddenly the radio died promptly after a short "scratchy" snapping sound. Initially I thought the radio simply overheated, but after many attempts to power the radio, it was easy to conclude that the radio was no longer functional.
Anyone else experience something similar? Also, do you guys feel a warm breeze rising from the e-brake section when you're driving with the top down? I've noticed that the e-brake section was unusually warm which led me to believe it had something to do with the radio failure? It's a stretch- but I can't seem to think of what, and how, and why it happened so suddenly.
Thanks for reading!

I dont know whats wrong with your radio , maybe a fuse or something , but the heat coming from around the e-brake is normal so dont worry about it , its the transmission i believe . Its a sports car what do you expect .
It might be the fuse. The radio actually shares a fuse with the cig. outlet, and that fuse is known to blow.
As for the ebrake, as doughNuts said, its just the tranny heat, nothing to worry about.
