Default DEI 530T install for auto up/down windows

So I bought a DEI 530T module so I can have one-touch down/up windows, and I want to install it somewhere in the car, but I'm not seeing a DIY - does one exist that I'm not finding?

Also, where under the driver's side dash is best to put the module?

Thanks,

BE VERY CAUTIOUS when wiring up your passenger side window. make sure to test EVERY wire there because I know there are a couple that are the same color with same stripe but have diff polarity and i blew two switches trying to wire that damn thing up!

driverside switch will blow first then the passenger. and trust me you dont wanna buy another driverside switch...100 bucks

I also cannot stress enough to test each and every wire more than once. That means if there are 5 wires in the harness and you only need two. TEST them all.

You should install the module where it is Accessable. If for any reason the fuse blows inside the module then you will be unable to control the windows. So make it easy to access should you ever need to. Besides it not something which really needs to be hidden anyways.

Can you please list the wires to splice into. I remember seeing a DIY on this, but I can't find it either.

I want the windows to roll-up when I activate the alarm.

Help will be greatly appreciated.

I can try and post one when I go home this weekend. I'm at school right now and don't have my wiring diagrams with me. But if you know anyone with access to Directechs.com they have the wiring listed and the window motor type which I believe according to the instructions of the 530t is considered A type but that's all I can remember off the top of my head.

I decided not to post a DIY for this because I don't have any pictures since I installed my 530T almost a year ago and I have a feeling that me trying to describe everything without pics would be too confusing. But here are the wire colors and locations that you will need:

Type A

Left Front Window Up: red/black Down: red/yellow Driver's Window Switch

Right Front Window Up: red/blue Down: red Passenger Kick Panel

These are from Directechs.com and are for a 2001. So these colors should be the same for all AP1's but I have not checked for AP2's so make sure you test the wires before you connect anything.

The 530T has the wiring diagram for how to connect it to which wires just follow it and match up the wires that I listed with the ones on the 530T and you'll be set.

when you are wiring up the the passenger side, there are multiple red/blue and red wires so you want to test them ALL before connecting them or you will short circuit the driver side master switch or short circuit the passenger switch, dont ask how i know
