Thumbs up Did I get a good deal on this install ? $325

I went to a local install shop and ask them how much they would charge for my install.
Pioneer HU + DCI, one Alpine amp, 1 set of Polk component , dynamat the doors. They want to charge $325. It that seem fair ? Or should I get a second estimate from another shop ? Thanks.

I just call another shop and they keep going on and on about how I MAY need dask kit, antenna cable, BS and BS . I think it up to $500 now. I think I'll go with the first guy since he install a sub for me before and I didn't have any problem.

Fwiw, once you get the price locked down, I'd make sure you tell the shop to install the system how DK1999 recommends in his FAQs.

Where do you live? Ill do it for half that And you dont need a dash kit, or antenna adapter. Stupid shops. But really, its not that hard if you attempt it on your own. But 325 is a good price, especially if they are supplying the dynamat and wiring.

To be honest I am not good with electronic wiring at all. If I cut a wrong wire and screw up my my car computer it would cost me so much more to fix it. So for a piece of mind I rather pay a professional shop to do it.
