Difference between...
i bought a alpine 9853 awhile ago..havent installed it yet but.....i was looking at the manual and i was just wondering what the difference between the 2 are....in simple terms maybe..lol

A graphic equalizer adjusts specific individual frequencys, i.e. 20hz, 1khz etc...
and a parametric EQ adjusts a range of frequencys on a curve. So lets say you adjust 60hz....that would be the center of the curve, and depending on the Q setting you'd be adjusting all the frequencys from say 50-70hz. The larger the Q the tighter/smaller the range affected. This would be easier to show on a graph, but thats the idea.
