Default Difference Between Alpine 9807 and 9827

The features appear to be identical to me, however the 9827 retails cheaper. Is the 9807 worth the extra 40 bucks or so??

I'm looking at these units also. The 9807 is discontinued. I ordered one from Online car stereo.com on the 15th and just got off the phone with them. It's disco, but I was never going to get that info from them. The 9807 is 23 watts rms and the 9827 is 18, and is a new model. Now I'm in the market for a new head unit myself.

The 9807 is nto 23 watts RMS, that is a misprint on the vendor site. I have seen that before but its not true. I sell them at circuit city, the box for them says 18x4 rms and i had been looking at them. There is no difference for controls or power between 9807 and 9827 that i have seen. They both sell for the same price at CC, 269. Its just the 04 model.
