Default DIN Pocket for Factory Radio?

Just curious... For you guys that have cut your dash for a Navi/Radio, what did you replace the factory radio with?

Anyone have a good suggestion for a nice replacement pocket (more storage is always good). I know I've seen some trick Boost Controller and EDFC installs, but I'm looking for something more stock-ish. =)

TIA

Yeah.. I had ordered the Universal Pocket from Crutchfield... Comes with a couple different mounting brackets and different size trim pieces for the front.

I just don't wanna find out after I'm done 'making' it fit that there's a OEM-ish option out there that would look 100x better and install 100x easier.

The universal din pockets by metra will have clip in brackets on the side which should allow the pocket to clip right into the own din hole. They also come with a bunch of trim rings which will fill any gaps.

I wonder what the cr has in that space.

Oh, that sucks.

I didn't even think about what the CR had... too bad the answer is... Nothing! =)

I will report back on the universal pocket. Should end up working fine.
