You're probaby thinking about my design, Koala. DJ's uses white LEDs with a colored filter over them, so a color change is not possible.
Kool, just wondering how that exactly worked. thanks.

That's the same setup on the stock M5. As you cold start in the morning, the red line is low and a visual warning not to high rev, then as engine is warm, the redline moves up until back to normal. Very nice. Dave.

Just so you know, my design notes do NOT correspond with what DJ has designed, only what I was working on months back. Wasn't sure if this comment was made because of my thread or not, just wanted to make sure so no one was surprised in the end after purchase.

I just did mine! Took me all weekend, but it did it. Looks pretty neat. One question to the DJ.... How the hell did you get the a/c vent control knob to light blue, while getting the air flow diagrams to light red????

Just wondering how's this project coming along? I'm planning to upgrade my system, therefore trying to change the dash and controls at the same time. Thanks!

Pm me Qube, if its done! Thanks!

Hey Qube,

Where you the one who made the color inserts also? A while back i thought I saw a red or blue dash insert that made everything in the speedo display red or blue. It was a solid thin transparent plastic that was cut to the shape of the display.
