If they have Inifnity 6.5" there than thats fine. I would highly recommend getting a component speaker like the Kapa series or other for the speakers. Much better and louder sound.

I would step up to CDT, Morel, Diamond, etc.

They're not that much more expensive than Infinity speakers, but they'll sound much better.

Each of the Sundown 50.4's I have are 12-13lbs. If you want small and light, most people here will tell you to go with Alpine PDX. I won't tell you that b/c I won't recommend Alpine to anyone (won't install it for anyone, either) - their amps use cheap components and sound quality suffers for it.

2003s2k2003 with a componet type speaker do you just unscrew the stock tweeter and screw in the one it comes with, in other words is there any modifying that has to be dont to make the tweeter or woofers fit

Yes they just screw in the stock location. If you don't have tweeter cut outs in your door panels you would have to get that done to get the benefits of the tweeters. To really hear the difference with a component speaker you need an amp to power them. I have a 4 channel amp for the component speakers and a 10" sub in my trunk. I can now hear my music loud with the top down going 100 mph on a highway. Still blasts. Before I could not hear a thing. If you don't want a sub just get two component 6.5" speakers and a 2 channel amp. Since you already have a head unit will make the system sound great. Will still be missing the big bass but if your not looking for that it won't matter.

Oh forgot to mention. I think some component speakers are deeper than stock speakers. You would have to slightly modify the hole so they fit. Think it is very easy to do though.

i just installed my DEH-P5000UB headunit with some infiniti reference 6022i speakers and it sounds a million times better. i also have an invidia dual exhaust, so you know when the exhaust has to compete for my ear's attention, i must have bought the right equipment...

i would go with Hertz 165L component speakers, 5" infinity component speakers behind your seats with a Memphis audio power reference 4.50 amp, a kicker 2ch 400w amp with a 10" kicker comp sub.
I have a 2.5in catless exhaust single exit with no res, and a large header and the music sounds like im riding with the top up sitting still. those hertz components are something serious very clear sound im sure because their crossover. that thing is huge
