It seems I was a little late on this boat. Very surprising as I'm usually an early adopter of new technology. I never got a mp3 player for my car over the years, but I just bought an Archos 604. Now I would like to use it in my car as my music source, but it's difficult to mount it anywhere in the S. So far it seems the best idea would be to use Velcro on the dash, so I can remove it too.

I'm not very crafty, but I know some of you are very creative and probably have some clean installs. Please shed some light on how I can go about mounting my archos. I would like to be able to see the screen, so I can watch videos, or control my music.

For an Archos, I have no idea what is available, but there are people who install a mount on the passenger side of the transmission tunnel that will hold the device and let you see it, but take it with you too.
