does 01 s2000 oem headunit fit in 95 civic?

Default does 01 s2000 oem headunit fit in 95 civic?

a buyer interesed on my 01 factory headunit, he wants to make sure that it fits into his 95 civic b4 purchasing.

anyone know?

you mean your s2000 headlights? If so then NO! they will not fit unless you custom fit them. Hell you can custom fit any headlight as long as you have the cheeze!!

Fit in the dash, sure. However, the S2000 uses a newer wiring connector ('98? & up), while the '95 Civic uses an older style connector. That means it's not gonna work without making a wiring harness from the old style to the new style connector.

Also, some years of the Civic (not sure about 1995), have the alarm functionality build into the head unit. If your friend's is like that, he may need to keep that old headunit behind the dash to keep that functionality.

I wired my HU in my beater 86 prelude.

I ghetto rigged it with speaker wire and jammed it into the pins to make contact. Wired that into a harness for the car. Works great!
