Default Does anybody know if the JVC KD-AVX1 fits the s2k?

I am thinking about getting an S2000 and I really dont like the stock stereo setup. so I went to Crutchfield to take a look at some head units and I found this one (JVC KD-AVX1) http://www.crutchfield.com/S-uA7iamKKvT8/c...nfo&i=257KDAVX1

its looks nice, but I am not sure if it would fit or not in an s2000, what do you think?? anybody have this one??

Uh...$600 for little more than a 3" DVD screen?

Other than the data DVD capability and of course the cool factor, is there any reason this would make sense?

yeah its total cool factor. and that is why I want it but you can get it new on ebay for around $425. so I dont think its such a bad deal either.

This is one of the first three units that JVC showed off at the January Consumer Electronics Show this year, playing MP3 songs on DVD disks. They call it "Giga MP3". There were some minor brands from Far East who do this but as far as I know these are the first car decks that support this from the major brands. I've been waiting for it for a long time. There were some home DVD decks and one Sony portable DVD player who played "DVD MP3" before but they all were shying away from the DVD-ROM format but JVC bucked the trend!!!

I cannot wait until I figure out how much mod I have to do to the radio door and its frame to mount this. I don't care about the LCD other than that it displays the ID3 tag information well.

Finally, I can carry few DVD's in my car with my entire collection of music and now I don have to worry about what compression density I have use to save space and etc. This is truly a revolutionary product, for me.
