Yeah well the dollar may be on par, but the pricing definitely is not. I tried to buy the Alpine 9885 from Crutchfield with an iPod cable, Sirius Radio Tuner, and Honda Wiring Harness for $179.99 but they wouldn't ship to Canada. We do, however, have access to the 9884 for something like $239.99 with no accessories. Makes sense to me! *cough cough*

Vik, install it yourself! It's not hard man, I believe in you I'll walk you through it on the phone if I need to, but I'm sure there is another local member out there who'll lend a hand if asked nicely.

Crap.. I already made the appointment.
I ended up buying the JVC deck later today for $375. The guy got me a deal to get it installed for $50 at a place a lot of ppl recommended me. so $425 total. I should really start trying doing stuff myself too, but I'll for sure watch over the process of installing and learn how to do it. I just hate to screw up things. ><

No harm done, watch them do their thing and you'll know for the future

Small variations for different cars but the overall idea is the same. Enjoy your new deck!
