I'm trying to upgrade door speaker soon and Yes, I already did some search but can't find which one is better with ALPINE9815. Also which one will fit right in to door speaker pot with out any adapter.

1st choice : Kenwood Excelon 2-way Dual Mag Premium Door Speaker Kit
or
2nd choice: Infinity Kappa 62.5i 6-1/2" 2-way Speakers

I'm not planning to put AMP on speakers yet.

Please help me...( or is there any other speaker should I look for? )

I just purchased the 6.5 kenwood xr601 from ebay.

Do I need Lucid Adapter to fit in?

I know the XR-601 will drop in without any modification to thE basket. I can't remember what the connector looked like for the stock speaker. But it will not plug right onto the kenwood. You'll either need the adapter or use spade connectors on the wire provided in the kenwood box.

 

All Infinitys will fit the doors with no adapters. I have their biggest speakers, the Kappa Perfects 6.5 inch, and they fit like a glove.

I think he was talking about the speaker wire harness so he can just plug and play.

I can't remember what the terminals looked like on the stock speakers.

 

JL Audio XR Series fit fine.

 

is infinity 63.5 3way works without lucid adapter ?(not harness i'm talking about )...

how bout the tweeters? i have an 04 those the infinity tweeters fit in the factory location without problems?
