Default DRL with LED... Possible?

Since our DRL lamps also double as the high beams I was wondering if anyone tried LED lamps in them yet....

If so, do they work?

If you use led bulbs to replace the high beam they will work. You will just have to deal with the drl light being on. Led bulbs are not bright enough to actually use as high beams.

There are other issues associated with the LED bulb - it's not a plug/play affair so be warned!

Besides losing your high beam you need some parts to make it work. Best to just unplug and re-wire

Did you ever end up doing the LED DRL mod?

I was going to do this to my RDX before I sold it. Basically the same setup due to the combo DRL/High beam, but it needs additional circuitry so as to not trip the DRL light on the dash.
