ive got a pioneer avic X1r headunit sitting here, im selling my car 2moro and going to buy my first ever s2000.

has any1 got a dvd screen headunit in there s2k?? any problems with it catchin on dash ect as its quite a low H/U position...

did u mean that in a way that, no type of flip out screen will work in a s2000???

 

its been done, but LOTS, and i mean LOTS of work needs to be done...if you scroll up all the way to the top of the page and look at that white box with the magnifying glass, which means search, and type in double din install. i'v seen big screens, but dunno if any flipped out.

 

Yes, sorry, none work in the s2000 without way too much work. Saying no flip out screens work in general would be a little presumptuous of me.

 

its not a double din unit, its a single, which comes out tilts ect, all i can do is try is i suppose.

 

No need, it won't fit. The two options are A) cut and fabricate the area above the stock radio door, killing 2 vents in the process or B) more commonly cut and fabricate a new dim opening into the top half of the dash.

Both require fabrication and cutting of the stock dash.
