Default Dynaudio 240GT's

Hey guys,

I realize this is totally personal opinion, but I finally got my Dynaudio 240GT's installed last weekend and they sound awesome. If anyone is thinking of picking up a set I highly recommend them. Right now I've got them running on a JL 300/2 and an Alpine 9831 and I'm oh so happy.

Now I get to go play with the Alpine time correct settings ... At some point I'll pick out a subwoofer, but not yet. For now, the Dyns put out enough bass that I'm happy.

Yep. Dynaudio's are the sh#t man. I had 260's (8" components) in my Miata (custom install by me ) and they were the best sounding car audio speakers I've ever heard. I've since sold the Miata and they're sitting in a box in my closet.

Get on Alpine's website ... you can input your car, and some other stuff and it will calc the time correction settings. You then download and burn to a CD and upload into your head unit ... pretty neat stuff.

Where id you guys mount your 240GT (MD100) tweeters? I was thinking about enlarging the stock location (2002 tweeter pods), and dropping them in. That looks like the easiest thing to do, althought its pretty far from the woofer.

<--Ap1 owner here, OEM tweeter pods were not an option when I did this. And as you mentioned they are further away from the mids.

I love the Dynaudio 240's. I have the 240 MkII's in my other car. The tweeters aren't harsh at all, they're perfect for the high mounts in the S2000 IMO.
