Hey guys I just got my S about a month ago and will be upgrading the stereo system very very soon. I am not sure what speakers to go with between the two listed above. I did a search and found info on the polks but not on the alpines. I will be getting an Alpine 9886 to run these. What do you guys think??

Edit: These 6.5 inch speakers are going in the roll hoops not in the doors

 

i just installed a pair of db 651's in my doors yesterday. they are getting about 40w each.

they sound great! nice and clean and LOUD!

however, and im NOT sure they are the problem (i installed sub, HU, amp, and speakers at same time) im getting some high pitched interference. ive yet to try to track it down, still sore from yesterday's install.
