Does anyone have the Eclipse 8062 component speakers in their S2K? I listened to these as well as the Point Source series, and preferred the components. But I am not sure if they will fit. The mounting depth is 2 7/8". Any one know?

i believe 2 7/8 is the max mounting depth for our car. even though the depth may fit, you might still have to cut the speaker basket depending on how big the speaker magnet may be. anyways, cutting the basket is no biggie.

 

Thanks for the info ricosuave. Hopefully you are right about the mounting depth being 2 7/8". I wish I could find someone who has these installed in their Stook so I could get their opinion of them and know for sure that they will fit.
