Circuitcity is selling Eclipse CD3200 for $200.
Is this unit good for this price?

Crutchfield has it for 280, so I would say well thats 80 less.

I don't know the unit, but read the write up and it has some nice features. I am not sure if the motorized face will fit / work with our radio doors.

 

I sell Eclipse, its a good deal, there is a run of bad cd3200's. CD's get stuck and will not eject. Eclipse has stopped making them for the year all ready.

 

The face does indeed fit/work with the radio door. Takes a smidge of manipulation to get the right height on the mounting bolts...but well worth it for the Eclipse SQ...

 

That headunit has 5v preouts. So if you have an amp it will give it amazing sound.

The radio door will be a pain. You'll likely have to adjust the mounting bolts for the oem brackets a few times but its do able. The face plate also illuminated amber which is a plus since it will match our interior.

The unit also has bluetooth, making it a killer deal for $200. I tried it with my phone and i can wireless feed music from my phone. pretty sweet.

Thank you everyone.
There is also a question regarding to the Modifry cable in order to use to dash control. Someone said I would need to have the cable.
So if I brought to a shop would a installer know how to do it?
Would it be easy to do it myself?

It's easy enough to do it yourself.

 

Circuit city also sells a steering wheel interface which is compatible with the s2000. I cannot recall exactly if the Eclipse is Compatible but it should be.

 

just want to add that you will in fact need some interface for the dash controls. tho the 3200 has the ability to interface directly with steering wheel controls, it does not communicate with the S, even when using the Honda specific software available from the Eclipse website.
