Hey guys i was wondering which one you guys would recommend....

I can get the CD5100 for 375 or the 7100 for 450 including the enhanced GPS attachment.

I was thinking either geting the CD5100 for $375 which is alot cheaper than the JVC NX5000 which the lowest brand new price iv found from an authorized dealer is $730.

Which one should i get? i dont mind not having a HDD to store music. i could live without it. I want bluetooth with either headunit and i want gps. I just wanted to know how good Area shot GPS was with the enhanced gps attachment.

 

i just got the 7000 eclipse and love it. a bit flashy. i have read amazing sound quality on the eclipse 5100 series. you can never really go wrong with eclipse head units.

 

CD7100 is the only HU on the market with 8V pre-outs

I have two: one in my truck, one in my S.

I'd never go back to a lower quality brand. Can't beat the SQ from an Eclipse. Very simple menus too...

 

welll i dun really care about that im more concerned about th gps features

 

I am looking at the eclipse decks as well.

Do you know if the eclipse will work with the dash controls?
I would like to hard wire it, not use the remote relay.

Can you PM me where you found them at that price?
