Whats the pros n cons about this unit? Is it worth it?

 

The CD7000 is more of a "bling" deck that promotes Eclipses new technologies with there Area shot and moving backgrounds. If you want better sound quality, the CD5000 is superior, or even last years Eclipse top of the line deck.

 

what model is last years top model.

 

I say if your a serious sound buff go for the CD8000 , it has 8v preouts where as the 3000 - 7000 have 5v preouts , which is better than most headunits out there anyways but the 8000 just blows them away for sound quality...
