Default electrical nightmare

i've had the worst few months trying to deal with this massive electrical issue on my 2006.
i wen to turn on the car one day and it just wouldn't start - everything came on the dash and right when i went to turn it over everything just died...no lights, no power anywhere.
so after checking the battery terminals, i looked closer and found some of the wiring was burnt near my turbo manifold, i'm pretty sure there was a leak from the hotside in the engine bay.

anyways, i start cutting and splicing to try and get the big wires fixed, and then later i see that there's an exposed wire even close to the firewall, i gave up...

basically, has anyone had a wire short on them that would go all the way past the fuse box? i'm going to pull the dash to see if i can find the wire, but i'll probably end up buying a new fuse box and wiring harness, does anyone know if you can even buy these? and i'm guessing it's gotta be 06+ because of the VSA and some other random sensors?

any help would be good, i swear even the turbo install was easier than these wires

Maybe, photos of the current state of wiring may help.

Sorry, about the problems.

I would just buy a used harness and fusebox from someone parting out their car.

I don't have any pictures, car is at the shop right now seeing how bad it is - but i'd rather just get a replacement harness then spend the time cutting and extending certain wires.
Looking for 06+ of these is tough, anyone know somewhere that parts these out, maybe not on the forums?
