Default electrical problem................

so there SHOULD be lighting around the dials, right? since some point, i no longer had lighting around the dials and i even got used to not having it...

so i tried to fix it by myself and tried to lift the panel.... and it won't go back in!! (not to mention that i didn't even get to fix it) it's the trim if you know what i mean....

apologize for the quality of the pic... taken by my phone...

should i just take it to a dealership?

thanks!

I would recommend taking it to a dealer. More then likely it could be a fuse problem. If it is more then that it will need to go to a dealer. Wiring is something that should be taken lightly.
Hope that helps

While I would fix that myself if your not sure of exactly what your doing it might be best to run it over to the dealer and let them take a look. Its mostly likely a bulb issue or maybe a fuse but I would suspect the bulb first. How long have you owned the car? Did you buy it new?

You are supposed to remove the entire gauge console before removing the AC/heater control pod.

As you can see from this pic, there is a (hole for a) retaining screw on the back that must be removed.

I can't see anything in the pic you posted.

You should either take it to a dealer or buy a service manual, so you don't break something.
