Great!

Anyway what kind of music do you listen to Vampire? There are a few things you need to consider when setting up a system in a S.

1. What kind of music do you like?
2. Do you still want use of the trunk? Yes/No/A little/Whatever it takes to get great sound...
3. Are you doing all the work yourself?

BTW what HU and speakers did you say you installed or have?

Cheers,
-John
-yes i like bounce music, rap
-about my trunk: Whatever it takes to get great sound,, doesn't really matter
-and i'm not doing the work myself
(-_-) ```

and not that $$ to spend...

how much are you willing to spend? where are you going to buy your stuff at? Are you willing to buy online or do you prefer the local store?

If the rap songs are the ones that do not have defined bass, than most subwoofers will work okay. There are infinite many subwoofers out there that will work. There are subs from the Infinity Kappa Perfect to the Resonant Engineering XXX (<--its a beast).

Do you want a balance between the speakers and the subwoofer or do you prefer your bass overpowering your mids?

Ok I looked over the HU, and did you install it yet? If yes did you hook up your dash controls at all or did you lose them? If you haven't hooked them up to the dash controls you can. There are a few different options, both of which can be found in this thread HERE

What did you do with you front tweeters? are they still hooked up?

As for the sub, for what your listening to I would get something like this:
(in no real particular order as they all sound nice if placed in the right enclosure and have the proper amount of power driving them)

10" Alpine Type-R SWR-1041D ($179.99) I have one of these and I like it. Just the right amount of bass for me.
10" Infinity Kappa Perfect 10.1d ($149.99) A couple people have this one.
10" Kicker Solo-Baric L7 04S10L7 ($349.99) My brother has the older version and it is very loud! He loves it. It also can be installed in a small sealed box.
10" Alphasonik PSW610 ($139.99) A few people here have one of these and as I haven't heard it myself, but they say that they pound fairly nicely.

The subs listed above are a dual coil 4 ohm.
You could up to a 12" but that's up to you. They will fit, but you need to look at the box designs for them and the cubic space requirements for them.

As for amps... well.... get a nice mono setup for whatever sub you decide on.

Here are a few that would work with the subs above:
(again these are in no real particular order)

Alpine MRD-M300 V12 AccuClass-D

i'll buy the stuff from a local store... probably Pioneer b/c i'll get best price

Do you want a balance between the speakers and the subwoofer or do you prefer your bass overpowering your mids? <<--- overpowering your mids, yes i want it like that and an ON/OFF switch for my sub that will prevent this for other music i want to hear

everything are installed and my tweeters are connected and working better than with stock HU

about the dash control, i'm not welling to do that upgrade

and thanks to darkknight1999 for the info (^_^) ```

That sub will work just fine for your needs from what I read.
I personally like the other one because its built... well... stronger. The basket is more heavy duty, the speaker terminals are binding posts instead of the little slide on type. The binding post style will hold the wire tighter, so you have a far less chance of the wire falling off due to the vibrations, the rubber surround "seems" designed for more of a beating, and last but not least the magnet itself is bigger and has a "coolant" built into it, so with the larger magnets and the coolant the sub "should" be smoother and last longer. The Premier line from Pioneer has in past years been strong, longer lasting, equipment. I was talking to my brother this afternoon and he reminded me that I did have a set of Premier 6x9's in my Maxima. They sounded so nice, and clean. I remember being at the shop 'back then' and looking and listening to a bunch and I like the Premier better than the regular Pioneer's. Course that was like... maybe 9-10 years ago. I think I just dated myself... oh well...
However the review of the sub I listed was awesome, that's way I suggested that one to ya. Figured if your going to stick to Pioneer might as well go with the good stuff.

However it all that aside, you should buy which ever one you feel is right for you. I would suggest heading out to the local audio shop and given them a listen for yourself. You can still find them online after you have time to listen to them. I would suggest putting a plan as to your goals with your system together that way you know what direction to go in.

i read the review... that sub rocks. cooling system `

but unfortunately the dealer doesn't have the premier pioneer, only got the regular.

order it online will cost even more, but i'll think about it

i'll visit the shop later tonight and listen to what he have then i'll decide wither buy that premier (that will empty my pocket) or just take the other one~$130 and the 25%off i have

and thanks again darkknight1999 for your time and support
