Default Entry level Focal comps or mid range MB Quart

Looking for clarity more than volume. Speakers will be amped. The entry level Focals will still cost $100 more than the R series (not the China made line) Quarts. Are the Focals really that good?

Tough call. I'd say yes, but then, MB's have a reputation for being overly harsh and I've never heard anything bad about Focals...

Definitely the Focals, as they are much warmer sounding.

I like the mb quarts more. Theyre bright not harsh there is a difference.

Have you considered the CDT? They've got pretty good reviews. I just installed mine and they sound great.

Man, I hate it when people do this...wtf is "the CDT?"

CDT makes shit from $50 to $800...
