Default Equipment advice

I want get a head unit and some speakers that will fit Marks2000's SPods. What head unit and 5 1/4" component speakers do you recommend? Maybe something semi-affordable?

I am thinking about just installing a head unit with these old Pioneer Premier 6.5" components that I have and I need to pick out some rears. I don't really want to put an amp there unless I absolutely have to.

I would like some suggestions, places to buy and what price I will be looking at. I appreciate it.

Oh yeah, since I have an MY00, I don't have any of those little tweeter pods in the doors, does Honda sell them or can I get them from somewhere?

I don't want an amplifier because I don't want to take the risk of having electrical system problems and I use my S2K as a daily driver and use the trunk to store lots of things.

The only thing I have so far is 6.5" Pioneer Premier Components that I will use for the front.

You wont have any electrical problems, but nevertheless. In your case, Just get a nice headunit.....best to get an Alpine with V-Drive, and a nice pair of speakers, like Infinity reference.....that should set you up.

What do you think about pioneer premier head units? It seems as a consensus that everyone here pretty much likes Alpine decks. What does it offer that other decks do not?
