Default Escort 9500ix Mirror Mount

I am planning on getting an Escort 9500ix soon. I can't stand suction cup mounts and don't want it on the dash. Has anyone here tried this:

It doesn't say anything about it being compatible with the S2000 but the photos clearly show it in an S.

Looks like it should be fine. And it's pretty cheap compared to the other ones I've seen out there. I got a similar one and it was about $60. Kinda wish I would have seen this one first.

Below the mirror's a bit low IMO. Not sure who they're claiming says it's best to mount under the mirror. I'd suggest mounting near the top of the windshield.

I like it, but it does sit a little low. Right now I am using the escort visor mount.

I bought this exact one. You have to drill 2 holes in the back of the mirror for the install. The fact that it sits low doesn't bother me and I'm 6'5". Well worth not dealing with the unit falling off because of the suction cups. The 9500ix needs to be slightly low imo so that the sensor detecting the rear direction can detect signals.

Visor Mount is the easiest to do and the less noticeable, same detection and less likely of someone seeing it and getting it stolen.
