Hey guys...just dug my dad's old radar detector...the Escort 4600...is it outdated technology or am I still good as far as a basic well functioning radar detector...is the technology still up to date with the police radar?? anyone using this currently?? thanks in advance for any help...i'm also gona get in touch with escort

 

found out that it is a little outdated....won't pick up pop radar gun...they actually offer a $50 rebate when you trade yours in to buy a new unit....kinda cool...bu i'll see if the old man will allow me to hardwire the valentine one in my car hehehe. he never uses it....so why not
