Default etronics amplifier installation kits

i need new rcas running my components and also a whole new set to power another amp for a sub. i went on etronics.com and there are tons of kits. most range from $10 to over $100. why is this. they are the same gauge and everything. is the quality that different? like is this crap? http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?stk_code=pyrpbin3

wire is wire. thats good enough. if youre concerned about noise get high quality RCA connects to complement that kit... dont waste money on ed stuff or anything else

I disagree with the above. Wiring kits can vary a lot. The wire can vary a lot as well. Some wire IS easier to use than others, the gauge can be different as can the straid count(the higher the straid count the easier it is to work the wire), the quality of the parts can be better or worse.

You want a good set of RCA's something that has twisted pair conductors and is shielded. Speaker cable should be twisted pair as well if your running longer distances. If your sub is in the trunk and the amp is as well the you can use regular 14 gauge speaker wire for it.

Do not ever purchase an "amp kit" A good kit is never available. You need to piece together a kit. RCAs are very important. www.knukonceptz.com has great wire. Stinger makes nice wire. Wire is definetely not wire. Ive done experiments before, and the difference is evident.

I have ordered some RCA's from this site before. I feel for the money they are pretty good. Darkknight would know more about the quality. For the money they should get you going.

copper is copper. i doubt anyone would put out a car audio wiring kit specific power/ground conducting wires with a ridiculously low strand count that it could not reasonably be manageable...

RCAs ive already agreed need to be high quality because of the low voltage signal through it , noise interference contribute more to SNR
