Default An excellent rear speaker (pics)

I installed and tested (with both the stock head and aftermarket head unit) the Tsunami GXS240.

What's really nice about this speaker is its build quality and power handling. It has an aluminum cone vs the plastic most others have, and can handle 60 rms / 120 peak so its very versatile (stock, aftermarket, and amped systems). Sound accuracy is very good!

I'm surprised how well it drops in too with the rubber boot around the magnet (Its a 30oz. magnet)! The cut out diagram was incorrect, it stated 3 5/8 dia. where as it should have been 3 3/4".

Lucid,

By aluminum cone, do you mean aluminum impregnated, or the cone is actually made from a thin sheet of aluminum? If it's the latter, I would love to see these things in person...

They're made by Metra (the harness company). Yes they are a thin sheet of aluminum for the cone.

I'm surprised is how heavy the magets are 30oz. and yet they still fit. By example the kenwood 1077 would be about 5oz.
