Luis, Those tap ins are worst than splicing into the stock wiring. What I recommend is to CAREFULLY cut away the insulation while not cutting into the copper. This is not for for the faint at heart! then wrap in your new wire and solder to the exposed copper on the orginal wire. Then properly tape or heat shrink the connection. This will be the best trouble free connection you can make. Rev on!
