I have one last "inexperienced" question.

Will a HU with a motorized display (a la Pioneer DVD-7500) work in the S2000 stereo location?

I mean I know the DIN size it will fit, but will the LCD screen be able to fold out and function properly in the S2000. I can see it for various reasons (air vents, shifter) not being able to work, but when I searched and checked the FAQ, there was no mention of this.

I have not heard anyone say that they would not. I know the Sony CDX-M850MP will fit. Kind of a waste though IMO since the radio door will be closed most of the time...well mine is anyway.

Some work, some dont. Depends on how far they come out, and how they rest. IM not sure which ones tho.

 

i wouldn't count on it...

the overhang from the dash (and the vents there) prevent most screens from folding up and being readable. the general concensus is that if they come out far enough to flip up and miss the dash that they hit the shifter, and if they don't come out far enough to hit the shifter that they don't come out far enough to miss the dash...

Oh.......I misunderstood what you asked. No flip out screen will fit in an s2k without a lot of work. I thought you meant the regular 1 DIN head units that have motorized display faces....like most pioneers and sonys. If thats the case, like I said, some will, some wont.
